    Don’t miss the new look of Lake Kitandara Bwindi Tented Camp when you reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Having opened in 1994 the camp is the best camp for mid-range visitors to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

    The lodge has a total of 20 comfortable tents which are self-contained and are named after Uganda’s variety of bird species. With 24-hour solar power electricity in operation, no detail has been overlooked in the refurbishment of these magnificent tents.

    The camp is adjacent to Bwindi, overlooking the beautiful forest with primates.

    The dinning

    It offers excellent standards of cuisine, because there is a spacious dining and a well-stocked bar in an elevated position above the plateau. The delicious food competes with the distractions of spectacular scenery of forest.

    The lodge has a very well stocked bar overlooking the forest that has been built to suit your highest expectations. You can enjoy magnificent scenery of the Kibale forest and Rwenzori mountains, right from this lodge.

    Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is famous for gorilla trekking safaris, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, occupying over 331 sqkm. The park is also famous for its rare species which include mountain gorillas (Gorilla beringei beringei).
